Getting to Desert Camp Chraika by rental car

One of the most flexible and scenic ways to reach the desert is by renting a car in Morocco. The roads are generally in good condition, and you won’t need a 4×4 to access our camp — a regular car is perfectly sufficient.

Buses are equipped with reserved seating and usually make breaks for meals and rest
Tickets can be booked online in advance at ctm.ma or supratours.ma

Getting to M’hamid by grand taxi

Another local option is traveling by grand taxi — a shared intercity taxi that’s a cornerstone of Moroccan transportation culture. These taxis usually accommodate six passengers and operate between fixed hubs, known as mahata.

Although grand taxis don’t follow a strict timetable, they generally depart once full and can be faster than buses for shorter legs.
