During this journey, you’ll cross the Sahara with a caravan of camels, sleep under the stars, and experience the simple rhythm of nomadic life. The goal of the trek is the Erg Zahar dunes — a protected natural reserve known for its untouched beauty. No infrastructure is allowed here, and reaching it by 4×4 is a challenge, which makes it one of the most remote and pristine areas of the desert.
You’ll learn how to find water and firewood, set up camp, cook over an open fire, read the wind and the sky, and navigate the dunes. It’s an authentic, hands-on desert experience — guided by those who call the Sahara their home.

It’s a place where you can walk barefoot on soft dunes, enjoy tea with nomads, and feel the true spirit of the desert, far from civilization.

Wild Camp

Guides choose the best place to camp depending on the weather, wind direction, terrain, availability of firewood, and the position of the sun (shade). They also make sure there are no other camps nearby — so the desert experience remains intimate and undisturbed. The camp consists of a kitchen tent and participant tents — either large nomadic tents that can accommodate up to 4 people or classic smaller tents.
