Tour description

Take a guided walk through M’hamid, the last oasis town before the Sahara begins. Stroll among palm groves, mud-brick kasbahs, and narrow streets filled with everyday desert life.

During the walk you will:

Visit the old kasbah of M’hamid, where families still live as if time had stood still.
Stop by a marabout shrine, learning about its spiritual and cultural meaning.
Meet women from local handicraft cooperatives, where natural cosmetics, handwoven scarves, clothes, and baskets are made and sold.
On the way back, stop in new M’hamid for extra shopping with local merchants: tajines, teapots, jewellery, herbs, and spices.

Your guide will share stories about the history, traditions, and nomadic culture that shape this unique oasis.
