This journey is a true desert adventure — about 60 kilometers of trekking in a camel caravan through the ever-changing landscapes of the Sahara: from rocky hamada plains and lush oases, through dry riverbeds, flat ergs, and fields of desert arugula, all the way to the majestic dunes of Erg Chigaga. Nights are spent in private wild camps, with meals served under tamarisk trees, dinners by the campfire, and the profound silence of the desert setting the rhythm of each day.
On the fourth day, you’ll return to Desert Camp Chraika by 4×4 jeep, passing oases and vast southern Moroccan plains along the way.

Stationary Camp (Luxury)

The luxury camp at Erg Chigaga combines comfort with the wild beauty of the desert. Guests sleep in spacious tents with private bathrooms, hotel-quality bedding, and lanterns that create a warm atmosphere. A campfire dinner and the silence of the Sahara complete this experience of elegant simplicity.

Stationary Camp (Comfort)

The stationary camp at Erg Chigaga offers comfortable tents with real beds, warm blankets, and freshly prepared meals. The bathroom with a hot shower is located in a separate building and is shared with other guests. In the evening, the hosts gather around the campfire to play and sing traditional Saharan songs — the desert blues.

Wild Camp

Guides choose the best place to camp depending on the weather, wind direction, terrain, availability of firewood, and the position of the sun (shade). They also make sure there are no other camps nearby — so the desert experience remains intimate and undisturbed. The camp consists of a kitchen tent and participant tents — either large nomadic tents that can accommodate up to 4 people or classic smaller tents.
